Remedy #2:  Peppermint oil and clove oil. These two oils can help you alleviate pain because they provide an analgesic effect which works immediately. Avoid contact to the gums though as it may cause a burning type of sensation. For children, peppermint oil is more recommended since it is milder compared to clove oil. Aside from this, peppermint does not taste as offensive as clove oil hence it will be much easier to give to children during trips.

Remedy #3: Black tea bags. Black tea bag is especially effective if the tooth already has an abscess as this can help in pus drainage.
